The 800 Series tube expanders, used on all types of apparatus with tubes from 1/2″-1.1/2″. These are the most popular expanders when working within the tube OD range.
Advantages of the 800 Series Tube Expanders:
One of the most popular tube expanders when working from 1/2″ to 1.1/2″ OD diameter tubes. Available in 1.1/2″ and 2.1/4″ roll lengths. This expander has been the forerunner of tube rolling on heat exchangers worldwide. Therefore, this is the series we try to maintain in stock. Likewise, if rolling thin wall then the 800-5 series is available. This will avoid triangulation between rollers. Also eliminating memory in exotic alloys like Hasteloy and Titanium.
We maintain high tolerances for all machining of expanders and associated equipment, which allows for precise expansion to create perfect sealed joints in tube sheets. We utilize the finest tool steel and cryogenic hardening processes for optimal conditioning, ensuring our tooling performs exceptionally well in the most demanding environments.
Each expander is assembled with meticulous attention to manufacturing quality. Every tool is laser-engraved with our brand, Powermaster Canada, along with the tube’s outer diameter, wall thickness, and expansion range.
