These cleaners are highly effective for applications in heat exchangers, condensers, boilers, and similar apparatus. Here’s an overview of their features and functionality:

Key Features:

  1. Eco-Friendly Cleaning:

    • Operates without the use of caustic chemicals, making the process environmentally sustainable.
  2. Versatile Applications:

    • Suitable for cleaning both straight and curved tubes.
    • Ideal for use in a variety of industries requiring maintenance of heat transfer systems.
  3. Compact & Portable:

    • Designed for easy maneuverability, ensuring accessibility even in tight spaces.
  4. Adjustable Cleaning Tools:

    • Cleaning tools can be tailored to match the type of deposit (e.g., scale, sludge, or debris).
  5. Efficient Mechanism:

    • Uses a flexible shaft that delivers rotary motion to the cleaning tool for thorough tube cleaning.
    • If required, water flows through the shaft to assist in flushing out loosened deposits.
  6. User-Friendly Operation:

    • Supplied with a forward directional foot switch for hands-free operation.
    • Dual directional foot switches are available for enhanced control upon request.

Benefits:

  • Restores Equipment Efficiency: By eliminating deposits that hinder heat transfer, these cleaners enhance the overall energy efficiency and lifespan of equipment.
  • Safe & Chemical-Free: Minimizes environmental impact and workplace hazards by avoiding harmful chemicals.

When ordering flexible shafts and accessories for electric tube cleaners, it’s essential to select items designed for specific tube or pipe sizes, or size ranges, to ensure optimal performance. Our shafts feature color-coded shaft stops, making identification quick and straightforward.

With stainless steel inner cores, our shafts stand out for their exceptional durability, flexibility, and resistance to corrosion. Since the inner core is the most critical component, enduring the majority of the strain, our use of stainless steel ensures a longer lifespan compared to competitors. Choose our shafts for unmatched reliability and performance.

Brushes are available in plastic, brass and stainless steel. The type of brush will be determined by the type of scale in the tubes. For hard scales like calcium using a cylindrical cutter first then followed by a brush. From the link for accessories all types of cleaning equipment can be found.

Our tube cleaners are not just for heat transfer apparatus, you will find them in many different industries.

About

Powermaster Canada was the brainchild of our director in 2001. A boilermaker by trade coming from the United Kingdom in 2000 he realized there was a distinct lack of supply of specialized equipment for the heat transfer industry in Canada, especially in Ontario.

Since 2010, we have been importing parts from Europe and assembling them in Ontario. In 2015, a depot opened in New York State to support an ever-growing American Market. In 2020, we entered the rental market, providing mainly tooling to the boiler industry. Since then, we have expanded into all types of heat transfer tooling for rental.

In 2022 we started our re-tubing division using local contractors with us providing the rental equipment on-site. Apart from local, we have been active in the Caribbean providing a retubing service to the hospitality industry. Bermuda saw us retubing the only dairy where Superior boilers needed retubing and repair.
