Connection to the driver is via a Morse Taper #3. Furthermore, the high torque which these units produce, commands a slow start. The two geared and reversible motors are protected by a mechanical clutch. This also prevents injury or damage to operators and attached tooling.

Accessories for a Tube rolling Machine

Mandrel Drives – Boiler Tube Accessories
Mandrel drives connect expanders to rolling drives. So, many different types of mandrel drive are available. These range from interchangeable female squares to fixed female squares. These come with Morse taper (MT3) connections. Additionally, the triangular shank mandrel drive for three jaw chucks is available. All these come in different female squares, from 3/8″ to 1.0″.
PTR-01 Rolling Drives
The PTR-01 is the smallest of our tube rolling drives. They are mainly used on tube expanders up to 1/2″OD. Fitted with a standard three-jaw jacobs style chuck, we can supply the correct mandrel drive for the rolling motor.

PTR-02 Rolling Drives
The PTR-02 is one of the two thoroughbreds of the Eibenstock stable. Supplied with a built-in torque controller this driver provides power to roll tubes up to 2.0″OD.

This machine provides sheer power to roll up to 3.0″OD tubes. It Slow start with two gears and standard reverse. Available in either 240 or 120-volt. Supplied with a Morse Taper mandrel in 3/4″ or 1.0″ square female tube expander connection.
