Uses:
The A Series tube expanders are a straight rolling expander enabling tube expansion from 7/8″ OD up to 4.1/2″ OD. These expanders, furthermore are one of the most cost-effective expanders available worldwide.
Advantages:
The design allows the rolls to be self-contained, and protected within the cage. This is the best mode of tube expansion when flaring is not necessary. Also with this in mind, available with various mandrel designs. Mandrels available: Short Series, Drum Type and Header Type. To clarify, consult the associated PDF link for more information.
Tube and Sheet Sizes:
- 7/8″-4.1/2″ OD. larger sizes available on request.
- Tube Sheet Range 1/2″-2.5/8″.
- 3/4 and 1.0″Male Square Drive.
- Consisting of 3 Straight rolls.
- Powermaster Industrial Expanders are always complete with drum-type mandrels ready for work.
- Header type and short series mandrels are available on request.

Below is a short series mandrel set shown here on the AF3 series also available for the A series. These short series, consisting of up to 4 separate mandrels allow access into the tightest of tube sheets.
