Collins Series Tube Expanders

The Collins series tube expanders are used on boilers with thin tube sheets. These expanders work approximately twice as quickly during the expansion as other conventional types of expanders. Speed is the main advantage over other expanders. These are as mentioned for thin tube sheets. The angle of rolls is at a steeper angle which is not conducive to thicker tube sheets. The range of tube OD is from 1.0″OD to 3.0″OD. All of the Collins rollers are for tube thicknesses from 10 BWG to 13 BWG. Two mandrel types are available. The short series and the header type. If used through a water leg then use the Header type mandrel.
