We can’t emphasize enough. One of the hardest tasks in pressure vessel tube replacement is the removal of the tubes. Every vessel worked upon will have its own set of challenges regarding tube removal.

The accessories and systems have been in production for decades. They consist of a centerless hydraulic ram and accessories including mandrels. The mandrels once screwed tight into the tube, are the connection from the ram to the tube. In the meantime, the ram becomes locked to the mandrel by a horseshoe lock. An activated pull stroke on the ram pulls the tube from the tube sheet. Using the chair which increases the stroke when required is a way to get the tube further out from the sheet. Also, extension mandrels are available for this need.
