AL Series Tube Expanders
Uses:
Used to joint two pieces of the same tube together by expanding a section which makes a joint.
Advantages of the AN Series Tube Expanders:
This expander is only used for expanding the end of a soft tube so that another tube of the same size can be inserted into the expanded section and soldered for a leak-free joint. These expanders are designed to leave 0.015″ clearance for a slip fit and soldering. Special sizes and shanks can be ordered The average depth of expansion is 3/4″.
