Using Tube Guides
Tube guides are the perfect tool for aligning the tubes within any tubular heat exchanger or boiler. The guides are available from 1/2″OD up to 2.1/2″OD as standard with larger sizes available on request.
A cord can be passed through the tube holes in the baffles and tube sheets. This cord is then tied to the nose of the guide to lead it through the exchanger/boiler etc. The brush part is forced into the end of the tube and the tube is passed through the correct tube holes.
When ordering include the following:
- Tube OD (mm or Imp)
- Tube wall thickness in BWG or Imp.
- Number required.
