800-5 Tube Expanders
Uses:
The 800-5 Series tube expanders are for use on heat exchangers with thin-walled tubes. Thus, a 5-roll system avoids the chances of triangulation between 3 rolls. Whereas using exotic tube material like Hasteloy or titanium and other certain alloys. These alloys, when rolled keep a certain amount of memory of their previous form. For example, if rolled with a three-roll system, the material would try to revert to its original form. Tube sheet range from 1/2″-2.1/4″.
