Electric Tube Rolling Drives
Electric tube rolling drives are the muscle behind a tube rolling task. Whereas with the reliability and the performance from the Eibenstock rolling drive. You have years of research and development built into every driver. Therefore, soft start and thermal overload is standard on all units.
Connection to the driver is via a Morse Taper #3. Furthermore, the high torque which these units produce, commands a slow start. The two geared and reversible motors, protected by a mechanical clutch. This also prevents injury or damage to operators and attached tooling.
Features of Electric Tube Rolling Drives:
- High-torque, slow-speed two-geared and variable-speed reversible motors
Mechanical safety clutch prevents operator injury or damage to the tool

Accessories for Tube Rolling Drives
Carrying out tube replacement can need the need of specialized accessories. Not all boilers and heat exchangers have easy access to their tube sheets. Especially when water boxes etc., are blocking the sheet. Some vertical boilers need access through hand holes to make connections. So, the need for specialized tooling will become clear.
Mandrel Drives – Boiler Tube Accessories
Mandrel drives connect expanders to rolling drives. So, many different types of mandrel drive are available. These range from interchangeable female squares to fixed female squares. These come with Morse taper (MT3) connections. Additionally, the triangular shank mandrel drive for three jaw chucks is available. All these come in different female squares, from 3/8″ to 1.0″.
